Dietary Restrictions & Requirements
We can accommodate some food intolerances and allergies providing that these are mentioned when you make your reservation. Dietary accomodations we can make include those for vegetarian, pescetarian or gluten free diets, those who are pregnant, and those with nut or shellfish allergies (you would be recommended to bring your epi pen).
However, we cannot cater to dislikes, vegan, Halal or Kosher diets, or to any dietary restrictions that we feel may compromise the ethos of our dishes within the style and makeup of our tasting menus.

Are children welcome?
In the restaurant we welcome children eight years and older who will enjoy the Tasting Menu alongside the adults.
However, for overnight stays in our rooms we cannot accommodate children under 16.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times while at the restaurant.
How do I make a reservation?
Bookings are now open online. We accept reservations as far as two calendar months in advance. If you create an account the first time, next time you book will be super speedy.
When you make a reservation with us, you will be asked to supply your Credit/Debit card details* to secure the reservation and your details will be stored in line with our cancellation policy.
Your details are encrypted and stored securely in line with PCI DSS.
When making a reservation for the restaurant, you will pay a £50 per person deposit at time of booking. Bedroom reservations are £100 for the bedroom and £50 per person to secure the table in the dining room. These amounts will be taken from your final bill.
Confirming Your Reservation
Prior to your reservation, you will receive a booking reminder via email which will include details of your reservation and also some information about the restaurant. We may also attempt to call you as a final check to ensure we have all the information on your reservation and you are still coming to join us.
Cancellation Policy
This Cancellation Policy applies to all restaurant and bedroom reservations made with Restaurant Sat Bains Ltd (“we”, “us” or “our”), registered in England and Wales under company number 05236297, with its registered office at Old Lenton Lane, Nottingham NG7 2SA.
By making a reservation with Restaurant Sat Bains, you agree to the Cancellation Policy in force at the time of booking.
Cancelling or Amending Your Reservation
All cancellations and amendments must be made to this email only: info@rsb.uk.com. We require notice by 12 noon, five days before your reservation date. If sufficient notice is not provided, the following cancellation charges apply:

The applicable charge also applies to any reduction in party size made within the five-day cancellation period.
Cancelling a bedroom reservation will automatically cancel the associated dinner reservation.
Pre-Payments
Any pre-payment made towards your reservation will be refunded where the reservation is cancelled or amended within the required notice period.
For cancellations or amendments made after the deadline, we reserve the right to retain the applicable pre-payment or charge the relevant cancellation fee.
Where we successfully resell a cancelled table or bedroom, we will refund the corresponding amount paid. For reductions in party size, charges may remain payable for any places we are unable to resell.
Bookings Made at Short Notice
If you make a restaurant or bedroom reservation within five days of your reservation date, you may cancel or amend the booking without charge within 12 hours of making the reservation. Cancellations or amendments must be made to this email only: info@rsb.uk.com. After this 12-hour period, the applicable cancellation charges above will apply.
Late Cancellation Credit
Where a cancellation or amendment charge is applied, we will offer 50% of the amount charged as credit towards a future reservation, subject to the following conditions:
- the new reservation must take place within six months of the original reservation date;
- the new reservation must be for the same number of guests as the original booking; and
- the credit is non-transferable and has no cash value.
Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that genuine unforeseen circumstances can occur and will consider exceptional situations individually.
Restaurant Sat Bains is intentionally small, and late cancellations and reductions in party size have a significant impact on our restaurant and team. We therefore actively seek to resell cancelled availability wherever possible.
Cancellation by Restaurant Sat Bains
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your reservation; we will provide as much notice as reasonably possible and offer either an alternative date or a full refund of payments made directly to us for the affected reservation.
Restaurant Sat Bains is situated on a flood plain. If flooding, unsafe access or another event beyond our reasonable control prevents us from operating, we may need to close temporarily.
Our liability in these circumstances is limited to payments made directly to Restaurant Sat Bains for the affected reservation. We cannot accept responsibility for associated costs, including travel, alternative accommodation, or other related expenses.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to amend this Cancellation Policy from time to time. The policy in force at the time your reservation was made will apply to your booking.
Governing Law
This Cancellation Policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to this policy.
