How do I make a reservation?
Bookings are now open online. We accept reservations as far as two calendar months in advance. If you create an account the first time, next time you book will be super speedy.
When you make a reservation with us, you will be asked to supply your Credit/Debit card details* to secure the reservation. No charges are made to your card, and your details are encrypted and stored securely in line with PCI DSS. If you are booking a room, you will pay for the room rate at time of reservation. However, if you are reserving for the restaurant no charges are made to your card and your details will be stored in line with our cancellation policy. Your details are encrypted and stored securely in line with PCI DSS. Once we have verified your credit or debit card details, we will send you an email confirmation.
* we do not accept American Express.
Confirming Your Reservation
Prior to your reservation, you will receive a booking reminder via email which will include details of your reservation and also some information about the restaurant. We will also attempt to call you as a final check to ensure we have all the information on your reservation and you are still coming to join us.
Dining at Restaurant Sat Bains
Overseen by our Restaurant Manager, he and his passionate front-of-house team and Sommeliers strive to give a service we call ‘relaxed professionalism’.
Our hours are as follows –
Wednesday to Friday for dinner only, 5:00pm–7:30pm
Saturday for lunch & dinner, 2:00pm–7:30pm
Allow up to 2.5 hours for your table time; you can of course continue your lunch/dinner in the lounge or garden, weather permitting.
Dietary Restrictions & Requirements
We can accommodate some food intolerances and allergies providing that these are mentioned when you make your reservation. Dietary accomodations we can make include those for vegetarian, pescetarian or gluten free diets, those who are pregnant, and those with nut or shellfish allergies (you would be recommended to bring your epi pen). However, we cannot cater to dislikes, vegan, Halal or Kosher diets, or to any dietary restrictions that we feel may compromise the ethos of our dishes within the style and makeup of our tasting menus. Are children welcome?
In the restaurant we welcome children eight years and older who will enjoy the Tasting Menu alongside the adults.
However, for overnight stays in our rooms we cannot accommodate children under 16.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times while at the restaurant.
