Kitchen Bench

The Kitchen Bench is right in the thick of it – proper front-row seats to the action.

We introduced it in 2012 after the huge success of the Chefs Table, when we built the new pastry kitchen, and it quickly became one of my favourite spots in the whole restaurant.

You’ll be sat right up against the pastry pass, watching the team prep, plate and send dishes as service unfolds around you. It’s raw, unfiltered, and you’re part of it from the moment you sit down. The chefs will serve your dishes directly, chat with you, answer any questions – whatever you want really. It’s all about giving you the chance to immerse yourself in what we do.

It’s an intimate setup – perfect for two, but we can stretch to four if you’re up for sharing the experience.

Please be advised, should you book the 5pm slot then two hours are given for your table for the reservation. Over-12s only due to health and safety considerations. Please read our disclaimer before booking.
  • We can accommodate some food intolerances and allergies providing that these are mentioned at time of booking. Dietary accomodations we can make include those for vegetarian, pescetarian or gluten free diets, those who are pregnant, and those with nut or shellfish allergies (you would be recommended to bring your epi pen). However, we cannot cater to dislikes, vegan, Halal or Kosher diets, or to any dietary restrictions that we feel may compromise the ethos of our dishes within the style and makeup of our tasting menus.
